For our business customers, we understand that businesses sometimes need to scale operations seasonally, closing a seasonal location, adjusting for off-peak months, or temporarily pausing services, our Seasonal Standby options allow you to put your internet service on hold at a reduced rate while maintaining essential connectivity.

Two Seasonal Standby Options to Fit Your Needs

Seasonal Standby
Stay connected at a reduced speed of 0.5Mbps for just $10/month + tax.
Perfect for keeping smart home devices like lights, thermostats, or remote access systems running while you’re away.

Seasonal Standby Plus
Need a little more speed? Upgrade to 2.5Mbps upload/download for just $25/month + tax.
Ideal for keeping a more stable connection for additional smart devices or remote monitoring needs.
Only available where technology allows.

How It Works

  • Flexible Duration – Pause your service for 1 to 6 months per year.
  • Flat Monthly Fee – Pay a reduced rate while your connection remains active at a standby speed.
  • Easy Activation – Submit your request before the 24th of the month for activation starting on the 1st of the following month.
  • Seamless Reconnection – When you’re ready to return, your regular plan will resume without hassle.
  • Contract Terms Remain Unaffected – Standby months do not count towards your contract term.

 

Important Note:
VoIP phone and security services cannot be placed on standby and will continue to be billed at the regular rate.

How to Request Seasonal Standby

To request Seasonal Standby or Seasonal Standby Plus, simply contact us before the 24th of the month to start the following month.
