NETSPECTRUM is currently looking to hire a Customer Service Representative (Help Desk) in our Sudbury Branch!

NETSPECTRUM Internet Solutions is a Northern Ontario based Internet Service Provider who provides internet service into rural and Northern communities. NETSPECTRUM is a division of Spectrum Telecom Group, a Motorola Solutions dealer who provides team communications across Northern Ontario.

Main Accountabilities:
As part of the Customer Service Team; you will be responsible to:

  • Monitor and respond to client inquiries and support requests via phone, email and ticketing system
  • Provide professional customer service to our client and partner base
  • Take escalated calls as needed
  • Maintain detailed documentation on client interactions
  • Maintain detailed documentation on in-house and field installed hardware
  • Work with new users or internal employees as needed
  • Provide training for clients and staff (as needed)

Software configuration or development an asset

  • Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, and other job-related software
  • Solid knowledge of networking
  • Basic working knowledge of RF wireless technologies and product, and wireless planning, design and deployment processes is an asset but will teach as needed
  • Basic understanding of IP networking
  • Ability to analyze and define problems, prioritize work flow, multitasking, meet deadlines, and remain flexible
  • Demonstrate attention to accuracy on all duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with Company and established safety policies and requirements

Desired Profile:

  • Bilingual is an asset
  • Knowledge of IT and ISP is an asset
  • Completed 2+ years college education in Networking/IT and/or equivalent work related experience
  • Experience working in ticket bas environment considered an asset
  • 2+ years customer service and/or helpdesk experience
  • Comfort and experience working in a team based environment
  • An understanding of the importance of Confidentiality
